Inside a Certified Breaker Service Facility: What We Actually Do

When your hydraulic breaker needs service, the last thing you want is guesswork. A fast fix might sound good in theory — but if it’s not rebuilt to the right standards, you’ll be back in the shop before the job’s done.

That’s why certified service matters.

At TOKU America, our certified rebuild program is designed exclusively for STRIKER hydraulic breakers. We don’t cut corners, and we don’t service tools we didn’t build. Every breaker that enters our facility is restored using OEM parts, trained technicians, and manufacturer-grade processes — the same standards we use for brand-new equipment.

Here’s what actually happens behind the scenes when your breaker goes through a certified rebuild.

Step 1: Full Inspection and Disassembly

Every STRIKER breaker we receive starts with a comprehensive inspection. We check for:

  • Wear on key components

  • Signs of internal damage or seal failure

  • Tolerances and dimensions that may have shifted over time

Once the inspection is complete, the breaker is fully disassembled by a certified technician. Every part is cleaned, cataloged, and evaluated to determine what can be reused and what must be replaced.

Step 2: Precision Evaluation and OEM Parts Replacement

This isn’t a patch job. We replace all worn or damaged components using only OEM parts sourced directly from the factory. That includes:

  • Seals and o-rings

  • Bushings and wear components

  • Internal hardware

Because we manufacture the STRIKER line, we know exactly what each breaker needs — and we never substitute or downgrade materials.

Step 3: Reassembly to Factory Specifications

Once the components are approved and replaced, we rebuild the breaker using the same procedures and torque specs we use on our new production line.

Every bolt, seal, and fit is checked and rechecked to match the exact tolerances of a brand-new STRIKER breaker. No guesswork. No shortcuts.

Step 4: Like-New Finish & Final Presentation

After reassembly, your breaker doesn’t just work like new — it looks like new, too. As part of the rebuild, every breaker is:

  • Professionally cleaned and painted

  • Rebranded with fresh decals

  • Returned in like-new condition, ready for immediate use

From the inside out, it’s the same level of quality you’d expect straight from the factory.

Why Certified Rebuilds Make a Difference

There’s no substitute for manufacturer-level service. When you send your STRIKER breaker to TOKU’s certified facility, you get:

  • OEM parts and exact-fit replacements

  • Technicians trained by the people who built your breaker

  • A like-new tool without the cost of buying new

  • Confidence that your breaker will perform the way it was meant to
